ASTRO supplies 6mm steel wire rope for OEM cable assemblies and manufactured products. Choose the strand construction, material, surface condition, length and end fittings according to the drawing and load requirement.
Each quoted specification is reviewed separately because performance changes with construction, wire grade, coating and termination.
6mm finished diameter with tolerance confirmed in the quotation.
7×7 and 7×19 constructions can be reviewed for different flexibility needs.
Stainless steel, galvanised steel, bare and coated specifications can be discussed.
Reels, cut lengths and finished assemblies with end fittings can be quoted.

6mm wire rope can be considered for mechanical cables, control assemblies, display or lighting suspension and other manufactured products. Lifting, fall-protection and other safety-critical uses require a separately confirmed specification and supporting test documentation.
Provide working load, minimum breaking load, safety factor, bend radius and test method. Values must be confirmed for the quoted material, construction and termination.
Send construction, material, coating, length, both end connections, load requirement, quantity and destination.
Specify any material certificate, dimensional inspection, bend test or breaking-load test required for the 6mm cable or finished assembly. Availability and scope are confirmed with the quotation.
