ASTRO reviews metal eyelet terminals and completed small-diameter wire rope assemblies against the customer drawing or approved sample. Cable diameter and construction, terminal geometry, material, coating, finished length and load requirements are confirmed for each enquiry.
Provide dimensions for the eye, cable entry and mating component so the terminal and assembly can be reviewed together.
Eyelet geometry and cable compatibility can be reviewed from a drawing or sample.
Reel cable, cut lengths and completed assemblies with defined terminals can be discussed.
Coating, finished length, packaging and inspection requirements are confirmed in the quotation.
Load and test requirements are evaluated for the exact cable and termination.

An eyelet terminal must be matched to the selected wire rope, crimp or swage process, mating part and direction of load. Diameter alone does not confirm assembly strength. Final dimensions and performance requirements are confirmed for the quoted construction.
Eyelet-ended cable assemblies can be reviewed for lighting suspension components, tool tether components, display systems, restraints and other manufactured products when the specified design is suitable. Safety-critical, lifting or personnel-support uses require a separately confirmed specification and supporting documentation.
Send the terminal drawing, cable diameter and construction, material and coating, finished length, opposite-end fitting, load and test requirements, quantity and destination.
Specify any material certificate, coating or restricted-substance document, dimensional inspection, pull test or third-party report required. Applicable standards, sampling and document scope are confirmed with the quotation.
